A Bumper Year for Clarke & Son's Chosen Charity

Basingstoke Solicitors, Clarke & Son, has raised an impressive £1,305 for their charity of the year, St Michael's Hospice in Basingstoke. This amount is the most the local law firm has ever raised since beginning its tradition of nominating one charity for the proceeds of a variety of money making initiatives over the financial year.

Events included staff lunches, Christmas party raffle, skittles evenings, and a summer BBQ. The biggest earner this year was the Wednesday Lottery Bonus Ball draw, where a number costs £1 and the winning number is worth £25. Any monies left over go towards the chosen charity fund. Angie Doyle, at Clarke & Son, worked tirelessly to promote this initiative which has proved a popular with staff and will be continued next year.

Next year's chosen charity is The Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust, for which Clarke & Son hope to raise even more cash!
