Following his recent appointment as Managing Director of Winterthur Life's IFA business last month, and the company announcing record business results, up 122%, David Thompson has unveiled his new management team. The team will be responsible for developing the company's award-winning intermediary offering and further strengthening Winterthur's position as a high net worth pensions and investment provider. All roles have been recruited internally and are as follows:
Nick Lee - Head of Marketing and Winterthur's Professional Edge adviser support service. In a newly formed department, Nick will run the marketing team and will also be responsible for the continued development of the value added services proposition that Winterthur offers IFAs.
Bernard Henshall - Head of Investment Distribution. Bernard will continue to play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team and maintaining relationships with third party investment managers in his new role as Head of Investment Distribution.
Frank Parsons - Director of Sales. Frank Parsons will continue as Director of Sales and will be responsible for all aspects of individual sales including the distribution of Winterthur's investment and pensions products.
Rhidian Williams - Head of IFA Operations. Rhidian, currently responsible for managing the operations support and development teams, sales support and individual business departments, will also now be responsible for overseeing the Relationship Management team.
Rebekah Duckett - Head of Product Development. Having been a leading member of the product development team for several years, Rebekah will now employ her wealth of experience in developing both pensions and investments products in her new role as Head of Product Development.
Jon Wheeler - Strategic Implementation (Online Services). Jon will now have a strong focus on providing project support to deliver enhanced online services.
