Winterthur Life UK has recently been chosen as one of Britain's Top Employers 2007. Of the 100 companies selected from all UK company applicants, Winterthur is ranked 15th.

The award is presented in conjunction with The Guardian and it is judged by The Corporate Research Foundation (CRF). CRF is an independent organisation that initiates and coordinates international research projects in business worldwide.

All participating companies are judged and rated by an independent panel of experts on how it performs on each of these criteria: covering pay and benefits, promotion and development, training, company culture and style (people), innovation, diversity, social responsibility, corporate governance and environment.

Mike Kellard, CEO of Winterthur Life UK (pictured above), commented,

"This fantastic achievement is further testament of the commitment and enthusiasm demonstrated by everyone at Winterthur Life. The award provides an external benchmark that recognises our efforts to create a culture where employees can maximise their potential."

'Britain's Top Employers 2007' is sponsored by The Guardian newspaper and launched in September last year.
